Average. Nothing special. Had at Yokosuka. Gotta drink a Japanese beer at a Japanese restaurant...

Typical lager, very light and little taste. Update, 1/24/15 - Koki's. 22oz bomber poured into a small Pilsner glass. Pours a straw yellow color with a small head and no lacing. Aroma is crackers and corn like. Taste is plain, light bread, corn adjuncts. Not unpleasant but nothing special.

Very light with little taste

Light, not a very intense flavor in this lager - almost not enough flavor. It is very smooth with no aftertaste, and I believe it would be a great beer to quench a thirst. It is similar, though lighter than Stella, and definitely similar in color. It is light yellow in color almost like apple juice. It is better than, but close to the flavor of a light beer. Many of the other commenters referred to the uniqueness of the fact that it is a rice-based beer.

Very light. Easy to drink. Similar to any light lager. No aftertaste.
