Perfect as a base beer for ginger beer. Very smooth and brings out the taste of ginger mixer. If having without mixing will go perfectly with a slice of lime.

Very smooth beer, would pair well with grilled foods.

Light carbonation and body. Very refreshing would be perfect for summer and bbq's or heavier meals. Not missing the hops at all, the malt is lovely on the nose as is hints of banana.

A very smooth Japanese rice brewed beer that goes well with dinner. Second only to Orion which is actually an Okinawan beer. It's a shame that Budweiser owns this.

I lived in Okinawa Japan for four years. My first six months I drank Sapporo. Wicked hangover! I was introduced to Kirin, it is a great light beer and a staple at any Japanese meal. It goes great with sushi and goes down well drinking at any of the local Japanese bars. Now that I live in America when I go to a sushi house I definitely preferred Kirin.
