Founders brewery - March 2016. Pours a motor oil black, with little head. Extremely complex flavor profile - raisiny sweetness, with notes of licorice and coffee. Easily one of my top 5 stouts.

Having the 2015 version aged 1yr at cork city's annual cellar raid 2016. Jet black in color with a thin ring of khaki head. Very low carbonation. Had on draft at cork city aged 1yr (2015). Aromas of chocolate, burnt caramel, and subtle bourbon notes. Heavy in body this beer glides over your tongue with an intricate mix of flavors. Chocolate at the forward followed by a big vanilla oak bourbon flavor ending with a dark chocolate & cold pressed coffee flourish. This beer is awesome!

Bigby's Aug 2015. Just perfectly balanced and easier drinking than the ABV.
