Yummm! Best citrus flavor I've had n a double ipa. Full boil died. Very well balanced. 4.5 out of 5 but it was more like 4.9

I actually do not like IPAs and am very critical of over-hopped ales (talking to you, Sierra Nevada and Stone!). However, the balance and artistry in this IPA are undeniable. I still would not choose an IPA when I have other choices, but I must acknowledge the quality of Hercules Double.

Hercules Double IPA - Less hoppy than most double IPAs. Smooth with the taste of caramel. A change of pace--I really like this one.

Very powerful beer, but not in a necessarily pleasant way. The taste of alcohol is a bit stronger than I would like.
