A decent stout. Now that I have tried so many it's kind of boring but a go to on an un-impressive beer menu

The old standby. It is what it is. There are better stouts but it's still a good option. Not a ton of flavor.

Guiness was my default for years. Dark and rich and my young pallet always tasted of coffee. However, there are much better stouts out there for the money and like most gas station fare, it got old. Great on draft though.

Hate me all you want but Guiness does nothing for me and lacks any true flavor. I would love to go abroad and try a real version if this beer. Maybe that will change my mind.

I haven't ventured deeper into the stout class but I can say that this is definitely a go-to stout. Well balanced and very enjoyable to drink, especially on tap. It's a keeper!
