As advertised...Tripel IPA. Good hybrid. It could benefit from a bit more hops but my homebrew Tripel IPA also didn't read huge hops even though I dry hopped twice as much as a normal IPA. What about the Belgian style hides the hopes...ask Stone the ratio on the Cali-Belgian I guess.

Light head. Cloudy amber. Smells mainly of hops. Comes on really strong with both IPA and Belgian triple style flavor as advertised. Unfortunately flavor quickly fades and leaves mainly bitterness. Not as fresh-tasting as other IPAs

Strong Belgian feel, but easy to drink like a good smooth IPA. A near perfect combination!

I don't get the low rating this beer had from others. It is a very good beer! Being from the San Diego area, I have the pleasure of being close to several world class breweries - Stone, Lost Abbey/Port, Alesmith and Green Flash is an excellent micro-brew. Having said this. Le Freak is an amazing beer with a superb balance

Great Belgian IPA. Solid hop flavor over traditional Belgian notes. Well balanced and tasty.

Hoppy, but without the bite. Slightly sweet. 9.2 ABV well hidden. Awesome beer!

Brilliant combo, strong and unique with a smoothe finishe. Bite isn't nearly what you'd think from a beer with this apv.
