Bottle
A - cant quite pin the aroma. Bread dough with some chocolate toast notes
A - reddish brown to dark brown. 2 fingers of head
F - lots of caramel. It's almost cloying on the backend. A bit souring. Some leathery chocolate notes. The yeast profile is more eatery than a British ale should be.
M - pleasant on the palate. Lingering with a dry finish.
O - it's an ok English brown. It's got more of a sour dough bread profile and not as clean of beer as it has some of flavors. Maybe I got a bad batch.

My rating 4.0 Dark brown amber. Slight sweet taste. Nice blend of malt & hops.

A very good all around beer. Initial flood of effervescent sting with malty flavors (honey, wheat bread, brown sugar, molasses) followed by a definite sour-bitter hoppy-ness (lemon, bitter melon, giving way to a toasted orange flavor). Bready aftertaste. A great beer for burgers, steaks, chicken, wings, and can stand up to a sharp cheddar very well.

Sort of bland and flat. Not my favorite brown ale.

Very smooth. Nice nutty chocolate flavor.
