I think this might have been my first experience with a bad batch. The hop taste was there solidly, with a nice hard hit and excellent bitterness, but about 2/3 of the way through there was a seafoody rotting woody note that ruined the entire experience. It increased as the brew warmed up. Based on what others have to say, I look forward to giving this one another chance. That being said, I'd still rather drink a bad batch of this than a mass-produced crap beer. Bottle.

Outstanding. Smells nice and clean - maybe a little more grassy than hoppy. Taste is really well-balanced. There are certainly hops here, yet they are somewhat mellow. I wouldn't consider this to be a hop bomb as some other DIPA's are. I put this right alongside DFH 90min and Harpoon Leviathan as my favorites for this style.

Strong hop taste with a light fruit finish.

Not as hoppy as anticipated. Somewhat dry. Is a strong beer at 9.5%ABV.

Excellent, well-balanced beer. Nice hop bitterness, without overwhelming. Grapefruit at the front, followed by full-bodied bready malt. Finish is slightly sweet. A definite keeper.

This puckered my taste buds. Had a nice little punch to it, yet smooth as a babies bottom going down le throat. Drink this and become a man NOW.

Clear golden/amber color, almost no head. Can pour to have one finger slightly off white head. Big citrus aroma. Kinda mellow not sharp. Kinda mellow hop flavor. Sweet, not bitter, which is really nice. 100 on rate beer.

Great color and aroma. Lot's of bright citrus and pine, but well-balanced and surprisingly drinkable for a 9.5'r. Silky mouth feel & super-tasty. A joy to drink. Well done!

A hazy amber hue with slight white head and a strong piney hop aroma. Complex taste and rich silky mouthfeel. Citrus & pine forward with a slightly fruity finish. Smooth and super hoppy if you're down for a balanced DIPA.
