Citrusy up front smooth throughout
A really nice double IPA, nice oomph at 9.5%

A near perfect citrus heavy Imperial IPA.Very drinkable, good suggestion for newbies to the style.

Drank at Churchkey in DC, nov 2013. Extremely knowledgable waiter recommended this. Said its hard to find. That may have made me like it more. I found it in a little store in Boyce, VA, and brought home two bombers. If I recall it was a very piney, hop forward drink. 9.5% dry hopped w/ Amarillo, centennial, cascade and simcoe.

Citrus bomb! Clear orange-ish with a decent white head. Nose is of intense citrus: orange rind, lemon, and grapefruit. Taste starts a slight bit caramelly, but dries up quickly with a piney and grapefruit resinous finish that lingers. Bitter, but not astringent. Medium body with a tingly sharp carbonation and an oily feel.

Floral & grapefruit on the nose, clean hoppy finish. Delicious lingering aftertaste. My favorite beer.

Good double IPA - but of a bitter finish. Like it, not a top for me though. High alc 9.5%
