Strong, essence of bourbon barrel aging. A bit too much malty sweetness and flavor of alcohol for a true hop head.

Good full flavor, but the alcohol dominates just a tad too much. Always get sediment in it for some reason. Similar complexity to Maharaja, Hopslam and 120 Minute, but doesn't hide the alcohol as well as any of these. A bit pricy, but an interesting beer to try.

Very malty, less hoppy than I'd thought. Fir almost 14%, not overpowering alc taste. Not a great choice if you're looking for serious hop taste, but a decent beer.

Great beer. Don't get the heavy citrus hops maybe piney hops instead. Doesn't scream grapefruit like other Imp IPAs

Caramel, vanilla and raisin aroma, great flavor, hop backbone gives it a slight citrus taste, alcoholic finish, almost tastes like a barley wine, needs some aging and it'll be ridiculous
- drinking a 2011, UNBELIEVABLE!!! Butter pecan aroma and flavor, basically turned into the worlds smoothest barleywine, changing to 5 stars
