My favorite beer from Great Divide- one of the best breweries I've been to.

Very chocolate, dark, good sized head, nice mouth feel , a good sipper

Pretty good. It's barrelly, chocolatey, and boozy with coffee and pepper in the aftertaste. Good complexity. No complaints, except maybe the price. I would opt for Palo Santo Marron to get a similar experience in a smaller bottle at a more reasonable price, even though its not a stout.

Chocolately with a bitter coffee afterbirth; oakey and hoppy notes linger. Intriguing hoppy take on an imperial stout. Had at PP 4/27/13.

Having a fresh one on 04/23/13. This one was bottled on 04/08/13. It's boozy. Chocolate is deep & very subdued. I want to try an aged one so I might be able to taste all the other flavors in a more pronounced way. The cayenne is very subtle & builds as you drink it. This is a very complex stout.

Enjoying a 1 yr old bottle from 03.29.12. Half finger head with little lacing in the center of the pour. Dark appearance. Definitely getting chocolate on the nose. Solid taste of chocolate. Not very boozy. Solid brew. I look forward to a super fresh one one day.

Strong smooth beer full of great complex flavors. Only thing keeping it from a 5 star rating is that it only comes in one size and expensive as heck. Too heavy to handle in that size for one sitting. Invent a 4 or 6 pack.

$18.25 a bottle. It wasn't THAT good
