Dark milk chocolate color, smooth finish, very full bodies but without an alcohol burn

Nice lightly boozy chocolate stout. Pours black with a huge dark head that clings to the glass. Smells of chocolate, malt and coffee. Tastes largely of dark chocolate and expresso. Mild alcohol burn on the finish. Feels rich and creamy. Really good beer.

Smooth on the pallet but bite at the end wasn't what I wanted. Would have preferred a cinnamon or coffee finish. Big fan of Yeti Imperial Stout , but I think the oak doesn't do this craft any favors.

Not bad.. Chocolate flavor, the oak age taste really comes out, slight alcohol burn to finish, love the abv. But far from the best imperial stout.. Good but certainly not a top 100 beer.. Overrated

Good beer for 9.5%, but may be slightly overrated....has quite an alcohol burn aftertaste, possibly due to the oak aging...

5/31/14. Shoprite Wharton. Excellent. Definitely a sipper bc very sweet and thick.
