I was kind of disappointed. It did not have much flavor.

Crumbly... Not as smooth as expected

Good for a red

Reddish brown in color with a frothy off white head and raisin fig aromas. Starts off like a mellow red ale then opens with complex lightly spiced flavors. More of the raisin and fig notes. Very smooth sweet malty body rolls on your tongue. In the Belgian style one of the best.

Slightly lower alcohol content than grand reserve. Very drinkable. A little less expensive than the blue but still expensive... excellent beer

Great Belgian beer. A little carbonated yet still smooth with subtle spice.

Better by itself as dessert
