Cowboy Mike - August 5, 2014One of the best Bret beers I've had. Pours dark amber, with a thick white head. The head quickly dissipates leaving a thin ring. The nose is almost all hops, the Bret is there but hard to find. The hops of this dipa stand up well to the Bret. Bret takes over almost every beer it is in, this is a nice exception. The Bret and hops create a really nice complexity. A nice tartness mingles with the hopiness, with a dry finish.
