Smooth; dark; lightly sour finish; uncomplicated; light for a dark beer- easy drinking

Overall, a very good beer, but there was just a hint of something on the finish that stopped me from giving it a 5. I would have given a 4.5, if possible. I am still becoming familiar with this particular style, so my appreciation for this one will likely grow considerably.

Meh. Nice aroma but the flavor packs no punch

Dark sour fruity aroma. Bitter, raisin, alcohol taste.

Beautiful dark mahogany color. Creamy feel, slightly fruity taste. Very balanced, not harsh. Typical Chimay quality. One of my favs. Cheers!

Mahogany cloudy body w/ tan head. Bready, dark fruit & boozy aromas. Fig, bread & ethanol warmth and flavor. Floating particles do not detract from appearance. Medium body, smooth mouthfeel.

Medium beer, dark gold. Rich but doesn't linger.
