Stellar! A black, headless beer that smells and tastes of bourbon, oak and vanilla. Expensive, difficult to get but absolutely delicious!

Wow! This beer is AWESOME! would love to have more, but probably couldn't walk home.

Smells like soy sauce, no amazing flavor either.
Bottle, home, Dec 2015.

Very strong smell and taste. Hint of blueberries over powered by alcohol and bourbon

A. Sweet malt with whiskey, but no harsh alcohol. Chocolate and big mouthfeel. 2015, A-, a bit sweet and boozy. Tried 2015 in May 2019 and the alcohol was still a bit hot and flavor of prune was evident. A. Had a 2022 on 10-11-23 and it was smooth, chocolate, vanilla, toffee and alcohol present.
Had a 2021 on 11-1-23 B+ to A-, very one dimensional and that dimension was bourbon.
Had a 2023 cherry, almond, etc, just ok B.

I think this is the same beer as pic but we have 2015. Pretty amazing. Bourbon is quite clear, but mellowed by vanilla caramel. One to sip and enjoy.

Boozy as hell. Notes of caramel creaminess. Very good beer but it will turn excellent with some aging and mellowing
