ccassidy3284 - January 15, 2012Nice crisp California common(steam) beer. They didn't have ice out west in late 19th century so they cooled the wort in the cold foggy air at night ant steam came off the barrels. Perfect example of the style. Very drinkable. Mild floral hop notes, caramel and pale malts easily identifiable in taste. Not overwhelming hop bitterness. Great session beer at less than 5 percent abc
