Strong licorice and anise flavor up front, not as thick or syrupy as other stouts, also no smoky or burnt undertones as a plus...decent stout over all

Very good. Similar to other very good stouts. Tastes familiar, hmm can't think of what it tastes like but it is familiar

Black, very deep good coffee chocolate undertones; slightly bitter; really good

Average imperial.. Very drinkable and could probably drink multiple bottles of this.. Not as thick and flavorful as most, not too mention the abv is lower than most imperials, which is not a positive for me.. It's almost like a watered down imperial.. Very subtle anise and coffee notes..not the worst but far from the best imperial stouts.. Maybe a 3 star rating.

Dark, a bit bitter. I taste raisin and hops. Decent.

Smooth stout

Smooth with heavy chocolate and coffee notes. Some booziness as it warms. Not overly/obnoxiously hoppy for an imperial.
