Has a nice floral bouquet of hops in the nose, a nice citrusy undertone and an strong yet smooth flowery hop presence. Great anytime IPA.

Pours an orangish amber with over two inches of white head, very frothy with elegant lacing.
Aroma is very strong and pungent with tangy hops, spruce and sweet fruits. Said sweet fruits seem to emanate from the malts more than the hops as there is a strong scent of raisins.
Taste follows suit with a sweet malt at the beginning of the taste that finishes bitter. The sweetness is predominately notes of caramel, maple syrup and raisin while the bitterness is grapefruit and orange rinds, with some notes of pine. The occasional sip is bitter followed by sweet, so I'm hesitant to say too much about the sequence of flavors.
Little aftertaste except a dull bitterness that is pleasant.
The palate is well balanced with a medium body that is sticky and syrupy.
Overall an exceptional beer that is complex and yet maintains a good balance between sweet and bitter. I would like to see greater strength in the bitter hope notes but I am content as is.
Definitely superior to dogfish head's 90 minute IIPA in its balance of sweetness and bitterness, in that there IS some bitterness.

A more bitter ipa than most, but the sweet malty flavor helps balance that and gives it a nice amber color.

Amazing, first IPA ever, clear golden color , bright hoppy Flowery aroma, bitter bite but dissipates quickly, great flavor, awesome beer, new favorite
