codehead - June 16, 2016Not at all what I expected - had the 2014 after it had aged 2 years. Surprisingly sweet, with a smokey undertone. No hint at all of coffee or licorice. Very good, but I've had better stouts, including Founders KBS and Goose Island Bourbon County.

dlitolff - July 18, 2015Very delicious imperial stout. Sweet chocolate with great bourbon taste. Was sweeter than I expected, barely any hops on back end. Almost like a dessert beer. Bottle, July 2015.

MrJackSprat - April 27, 2014A rare brew not quite up to the hype. From an IPA guy, most stouts taste pretty much the same. A real smooth start full of chocolate and coffee flavor and a mellow finish.
