Terribly skunky nose that volatizes off after few minutes to reveal hearty dark bread aroma. Light to med body. On the palate lot of upfront roasted peanut & shell, hint of plum, soft bitter notes of cocoa nib, w/ a delicate floral/citrus perfumy finish. profile - April 24, 2014
I drank it cold and couldn't find the flavor I may want to drink it at room temperature next time.

Good taste. I bought it last night and drank it this afternoon. Not exactly my usually choice of a breakfast beer but it's open so I'm going at it. Probably would have been a good one to start my night with. Has a funny smell but the taste doesn't reflect.

It has a bit of a sour nose. Great malty, nutty, coffee mouth flavors that finishes crisp and light hoppy flavor.

Great dark beer. Black coffee and dark chocolate tones to it. One of my favorites.
