Golden color. Gets better after it has sat on the counter and warmed up. Try at 45-50deg. Right out of the fridge I only tasted honey up front and a pepper finish. More honey than cocoa but I did get a slight cocoa taste once it sat out. It's not overly sweet and the chilies are a nicer finish once it's warmed up.

One of my favorite dogfish brews. The story behind it makes it that much more interesting. Definitely get the honey, and slight taste of the chile

The honey gives it a sweet almost cidery taste. Don't get much of the chocolate, but the chillies come through in the finish

Starts with a very heavy caramel and honey, subtle fruit nuance and very subtle chocolate undertones (helps if you eat wheat crackers in between sips). Weaker middle, but really good, nuanced aftertaste. You can get the spicy heat of the chiles at the end.

Chocolate flavor backnotes. I had hoped for a little bite from the chillies but they went unnoticed. I good brew nonetheless.
A case to my cellar
