Enough bitterness to keep it interesting. Smoothes out as it warms.

Not good Very metallic or tinny aftertaste

Really piney for a porter! Chocolate and Expresso tastes too possibly.

Nice smoky flavor. Almost as good as Alaskan smoked porter.

Excellent dark rich porter. Lacing from the top of the glass to the bottom. Nice smokey flavor with notes of coffee, malt, and a bit of black pepper. Very enjoyable.

More bitter and intense than a typical porter, although that is not a criticism.

Smokey and malty. Smooth sold beer

Complex blend of dark, roasted coffee and malt up front, followed by an influx of subtle smoke at the end. The progression is layered, complicated, and intriguing, although a touch of unwelcome "caramel cola" in the middle keeps this from becoming the perfect porter. Still, a definite winner!

Good porter especially with cheese and steak

Bitter and smooth for a dark beer. Flavorful but not my favorite porter
