Nice dark color full bodied robust nose that fills you. Heavy taste but very enjoyable let the smoke taste really marinate on your taste buds.

Smoked beers use malt dried over an open flame. This beer has a smoke flavor which fills the mouth. It is full-to-medium-bodied, and the smoke blends nicely with the bitterness. The actual malt flavor hides till the end, where a small hint of sweetness peeks through.
Would go great with anything off the grill. Especially barbecue (I think).
17JUL12, Pairs fuckin fantastically with the French Dip.

Smokey porter, but not too much. Beautiful black color and head. Excellent

Pitch black, tan head, good lacing
A: smoke, coffee, roasted malt, band aid
T: tons of smoke and roasted notes. A bit of chocolate. Flavors really open up and improve as it warms
M: fairly thin, medium to low carbonation
