This is the 2014 release and it is the real deal. Thick, rich and well balance. Strong hints of chocolate and coffee. A must try

Impressive.. The black currants and coffee combo goes together well..One of the better Russian Imperials I've ever had ...Probably my favorite beer by Stone, because I really don't care for there super hoppy beers..4 stars.. Definitely worth the $7 I paid for it.

Like tar from a bottle in regards to color. Very thick-pouring like an imperial stout should be. Notes of black coffee and chocolate. Slightly boozy, but the alcohol burn elevates the other flavors, so it's a pleasant burn. Head smells of chocolate & peanut butter. A hard-hitting beer.

It's an ok stout. Low malt, medium bitter taste. Low chocolate and coffee notes. Very boozy

Great RIS, not too much chocolate, a bit boozy at the end, pretty good. Could be a big maltier in the middle but a great brew nonetheless

Great dark heavy stout with big intensity, but its not for the faint of heart - i cant take more than 1 or 2 in one sitting. For one thing, look at the % alcohol

Very full bodied beer, leaves a little bitter taste but goes down smooth
