Great body, wonderful hoppiness, but not overly bitter. Not too sweet or syrupy like many imperials can be. profile - July 7, 2013
Perfect blend of piney hops and extreme abv. Hate that it comes only in four packs would be my only criticism but at 10+% abv will rock your world with a strong piney pecker. Also is brilliant on tap. Had at max's in Baltimore...and at green truck in Savannah. And every year since. But.....Fuk you Sierra for making this such a limited seasonal.

Strong. Citrusy. Not a light summer IPA like ingredients / tones might imply profile - July 5, 2013
Easier drinking than expected given over 10% abv

Not bad. Very hoppy. Which I like. However, they did a terrible job covering up the alcohol. Had it on draft, maybe it needs to be aged a bit. Had one and was ready to move on. It's in the lower half of DIPA's for me. profile - July 2, 2013
Not overwhelmingly hoppy, great citrus nots, very strong alcohol taste, overall a very good beer.

Love the alcohol, love the hops, love the floral notes, piney flavor, and deliciously balanced malts.

Hoppy. Strong floral smell with more complexities I'm having trouble pinning down. Will have to give this a second run and revise. Finish is pretty smooth for an imperial IPA.

Very hoppy! Can't drink more than one at a time. If you like a hoppy beer you will enjoy this one
