Pours dark orange with little head. Nose: mild pine, not much else. Mouthfeel: medium full bodied. Flavor: spicy, Lots of alcohol burn, spice, potpourri, with a little chocolate and vanilla on the finish. Not a great beer unfortunately, maybe better on tap. Soapy and bitter.

7-26-13. Over hopped yet balanced in the traditional stone fashion, very drinkable. Strong at 10% but not boozy tasting. Sweet, bitter, citrus amazingness. For fans of DIPAs I highly recommend giving this one a try.

I have to say this was a disappointment. I tried a draft Ruination 10th anniversary when that was out and thought it was unbelievable. I was expecting this to be the same beer and it does not seem like it is. I wish I had made notes on the 10th anniversary so I could compare. Anyway, this is a super-hoppy (over-hopped) beer. It's strong and will kick you in the pants. There are many other DIPA's which are great hop bombs and have a more well-balanced flavor than this one.

Bitter and balanced. Hoppy, hoppy, hoppy. Starts smooth, then the grapefruit hits, quite dry on the finish. Beautiful color. My brother says this would pair well with chili, and he is correct.
