Dark and roasty. Lots of burnt and coffee notes. Not really much chocolate. Slightly bitter. Not a bad beer

Extremely bitter, as one would expect from a black beer. I don't recommend it for someone's first time drinking a black beer.

Not as good as Ola Dubh, but in the same ball park, especially for the difference in price. Great chocolate and coffee hints. Definitely a go to brew when you can find it.
