Very clean taste. A bit too much coffee and roasted for me, but the clean flavors makes it better. I would like to try other beers from them. This is my first and it well put together. I am guessing I would like beers more in the styles that I like.

One of the best after tastes for a beer I've ever had. Brown ale with a crisp finish! Delicious!!

Thin. No backend. Oaky to start but not much malt flavor despite the roasted barley.

Mahogany colored body with a one finger tan head that dissipates to a thin rim of lace. Poured into my Cigar City Brewery pint glass. Smoky roasted malt and coffee aromas dominate the nose. Right off the bat, roasted malt is evident followed flavors of coffee and bittersweet chocolate. Beautiful malt presence is balanced off by a nutty finish with a slight bitter coffee bite. Medium bodied with mild carbonation. Phenomenal brown ale from one of my favorite breweries. One of my "go to" beers for sure.

Poured a nice dark translucent brown with a good 1-2 finger head. Aromas of roasted malt, a sugary sweetness, and coffee right off the bat. Great mouthfeel and as with the aroma a bit of roasted malt and dark chocolate bitterness up front followed by a sweet nuttiness in the finish. Left me wanting more with every sip. Great well balanced brown ale

Full bodied. Great aroma. Mild with a little sweetness. Slightly bitter chocolate aftertaste. Great beer with a cigar.
