Nut brown with a hint of red and nice head without much retention. Well-balanced and mildly sweet with plenty of caramel, malty, bread notes. Hops provide just the right amount of backbone, but don?t overwhelm the beer. Very tasty and unusual; not west coast and not New England. More of a brown IPA/Scotch ale profile.

Solidly bitter IPA. Some maltiness too

Having one while on vacation in Wildwood NJ. Nice and satisfying after a day at the beach. Dark golden colour with a nice white head. Complex hoppy taste.

The nose was off putting, with a hint of butyric acid notes. Body was average, neither stellar nor disappointing. Bitter finish without the bright hoppy notes I was hoping for. I'll stick to DirtWolf if I want an IPA from Victory in the future.

Semi aggressive pour from bottle to pint glass. Nice, stable foam. Amber in color, already warning me that this might be too malty for my taste. Smell of earthy hops. Almost a little weed-like. Malts on first taste. Unbalanced bitterness on second taste that stays through third taste and aftertaste. Not a bad beer, but just not my taste. Not flowery enough for my taste, no citrusy hops. Very bitter even a minute after you had the last sip. -you need to know that I love bitter beers, but this one just misses the balance for me...

Good balance, not overly hoppy. Pretty average IPA but good

A deep running but not overt bitterness highlights this chewy ale. There's a pleasant grainy balance here.
