Good bite. A nice full flavor, rich mouthful.

Strong rye taste with 18% rye, balanced with a sweet caramel malt taste and some hop bitterness. Like an imperial red rye. Good. Bottle, march, 2013.

Great hop and malt balance, rye malt is nice

Hops and rye fill out the profile, and it's balanced and tasty, but shies away from being too assertive or aggressive. Still, this makes it drinkable for a longer session. A very enjoyable IPA!

Even with a strong pour, not much of a head. Reddish brown in color. Pick up some cherry and maybe a little caramel on the nose. Drinks smooth with a good balance of hops and malt. Hops linger a little longer than I would like in the aftertaste. Would put in my top 3 ryes so far.

Black cherry, and burnt lemon on the nose. Pleasant. Some smooth caramel, cherry, and grapefruit on the palette. Nice medium bitter finish.
