Bit of a burnt aftertaste. This did not enhance the experience.

Dark brown ale, slightly bitter. Hard to tell, had a piece of gum beforehand.
*update
Nutty like a Newcastle but the hops (maybe it's malt) have a tad bit more kick. Not too overwhelming, though.

Great flavor. Better than New Castle.

Brown-mahogany color with tan head that leaves moderate lace. Poured into pint glass. Nutty and malt aromas. Sweet front end with nut presence, malt backbone is followed by slightly bitter sticky back end. Fairly well-balanced. Medium bodied with mild carbonation. Very drinkable and enjoyable. I would have this again.

Sweet, nutty, deliciously drinkable brown ale

Medium body, great tasting local brown ale but nothing super unique and distinctive. A good choice for trying the local brew but not too distinctive. Interesting smokey smell too

Medium to full body brown. Lovely toasted nutty malts. Almost tastes of toasted pecans
