Allyn - October 22, 2011Nice coffee and chocolate with a slight black cherry note. Very nice hop note in the middle that fades quickly creating a smooth mouth feel. Excellent Porter.
Bracken's Bitches - October 21, 2011This maybe the world's best porter. Let me explain the context though. This beer is the 'dictionary' definition of a porter. There is no sweet or bitter tastes added to the beer. This is just straight up malts, hops, malts, yeast, malts and maybe some water. Did I mention the perfect roasty maltiness?
cgiron - October 18, 2011Dark brown almost black with khaki head leaving a rim of lace on my Founders imperial pint glass. Malt, bread, and coffee aromas all precede biscuity flavor and roasted malt. Full bodied with mild carbonation. Very tasty and rich. Will have more of these for sure.
