Terrible!!!! Too much oak. Almost taste smoked.

Ruby in color with no head and subtle oak and malt aromas. I love the smokiness. There is quite a lot going on here. This is a big, viscous beer with a sweet maple flavor and a smokey whiskey finish

Excellent beer for winter nights

Yum! Nuce heavy body of vanilla, maple, and oak.

Big and bruising. But delicious. I would split a 12 with a friend. Sam continues to redefine what beer can be.

Full-bodied. Strong smokey, oak flavor with a hint of sweetness (presumably from maple flavor; hard to detect the vanilla). Great with a Cadbury egg!

Smoky. A bit sweet with an oak essence.

I love the smokiness. There is quite a lot going on here. It works well for me. This is a big, viscous beer with a sweet flavor so drinking more than a couple in a sitting seems unlikely. Definitely worth trying and I would gladly get this again.
