One of the best porters I have ever had!

Dark midnight color with amber Hughes on side of glass, roasted malt and coffee smell with a choclaty and semi bitter taste pours with an extremely thin head with a semi-bitter aftertaste, overall very good beer that I'd try again, my first porter

Love it! Smooth, dark, and delicious. My favorite porter.

A: Jet black with a two finger brown head with excellent retention. Great lacing too. A: Roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, and maybe a tiny bit of hops. Great aroma T: surprisingly, hops up front and then a great mixture of dark chocolate and roastiness comes into play. As it warmed I swear vanilla came out too. M: surprisingly thin, which was disappointing. There was quite a bit of carbonation too. I can't complain too much about the body because the thinness makes this great beer so much easier to drink. Overall: spectacular. What all porters should be like

pouring midnight black with a creamy beige head of solid retention and lacing. Sweet caramel and chocolate malts greet the nose and lure a taste! On the flavour front, however, it is much drier, beginning with a faint caramel sweetness and drying out like fine coffee with an espresso-like lingering finish with a good amount of smoky burnt toast as well. Full bodied and creamy, this is one delicious beer! Grade: A
