Beerguy33 - May 31, 2015English Pale Ale. 12 oz bottle, pours a cooper color, with 1/2 head. Mouthfeel is medium. Medium carbonation. Aroma is earthy, smokey, caramel, toasted malt and oak. Taste is slightly bitter, toasty and big malt flavor. I almost wish there were more hops and less malt....more balance. Not bad but not something I would have again

It calls itself a pale ale, but it strikes me as a light winter saison. Nice spice-y character.
