Meh

Tried this after being exposed to the Scotch Ale from Oskar Blues, Old Chub. Very close race between the too, but I still prefer the Old Chub. Don't get get me wrong, Claymore is still excellent; Carmel, malty, smooth, with a hint of chocolate. You wouldn't go wrong grabbing a pint.

A wee heavy scotch ale - Deep ruby in color with a slight effervescent head, malty warm aromas. A slight hop note with a subtle peaty smoky flavor and a warm finish. Another delicious brew from great divide

Terrific wee heavy with a warm and even taste all the way through

A lot like a black ale.

Malty and sweet, smooth and light. Ok, but a little sweet for me. Orange Beach 2012.

Dark, but smooth and slightly chocolatey

This is the best Scotch ale I've ever tasted. A "Wee Heavy". Stout lovers will like.
