Solid scotch wee heavy.. But is sort of thin bodied, was expecting a bit more flavor as well.. Still a Sessionable wee heavy.. Nice crisp refreshing bite from Scottish yeast, touch of sweet booziness and hints of vanilla to finish..This beer has been a 5 star recommendation for me for years, so maybe the wait set my expectations too high..3.5 -4 stars.. Worth a try.

Very (too?) sweet, very chocolatey.

Great scotch ale. It is now one of my favorites. Caramel maltiness like a light stout almost with a little coffee flavor. Delicious

Dark and smooth. Kind of Guinness with a little scotchy bite.

A. Great malt flavors with a hint of smoke in a heavy bodied wee heavy. Alcohol warming and a hint of coconut.
