This thing was jam packed with so much coffee it felt more like I was drinking grounds than I was beer or coffee. It just didn't mix together all that well in my mind

Well-made but the coffee flavor is too strong for me. Highly recommended for those who like the stouts and cappuccinos.

I mean, it's good, but just not my #1 style of beer. Bottle, home, May 2015.

Nice coffee stout. Black with a thick tan head. Smells and tastes of coffee. Soy sauce starts to take over the taste as it warms. Nice coffee bitterness in the finish. profile - May 9, 2015
Not bad. Great aftertaste

This is a solid coffee stout with very nice flavors up front, but they are quickly over powered by the strong lingering bitterness on the end. Maybe some age is needed. 5/11/15 just had another bottle, this one is not quite so bitter.

Cappuccino stout- lagunitas brewing co. 8.9% Petaluma, CA Heavy black coffee aroma with a hint of jalapeño. Dark brown pour with a subtle mahogany hue. Medium mouthfeel with no carbonation. Small amount of tan colored foam that dissipates quickly. Tastes more like espresso than cappuccino. Heavy stark bitterness that lingers. Just like the aroma I sense a touch of jalapeño but mainly burnt coffee. Would pair well with sweet chocolate desserts as the bitter would offset the sweet. I'm a coffee addict but it sounded much better than it tasted.
