Thats the stuff! If a brew master can hit on this once in his time, hes earned his wings. Not super rich or complex; its just good. The aroma suggests they soft pedaled on the barrel aging too much, as you might worry theyd do with a tripel, not wanting to destroy its delicateness. But then why barrel age it? While it goes easy on the barrel, it is definitely noticeable and perfect. It does not leave much room for that yeasty, wheaty taste of a tripel but brings out something different, kind of Chardonnay like. Delish!

On tap at Yard House in Greenville, SC. In my experience if all the ingredients are good it can not be all bad right? And this is true to that. A Bourbon Barrel Aged Belgian Triple. What is not to love. This beer melds all the flavors very well without any one overpowering the others. Very subtle bourbon flavor. Very well done.

Heavy alcohol hit and taste. Definitely a special treat to share with a friend. Best described as a mixed drink beer flavor, light in color. $18 or less, go for it, otherwise go for Allagash white or something similar.

Smooth sneaky 11%. Bottled. Almost Apple hard cider. Nice. Really sneaky. Similar to Tappist.

Very smooth and easily drinkable. Light flavor allows hint of bourbon.

Awesome Belgian. It's very light and summery but super interesting. Zero bitterness. One of my favorite light beers ever. Great mouthfeel too, weird for a Belgian.

Rich and complex, with notes of caramel and vanilla. Masterfully crafted brew that is best served slightly above refrigerator temperature to truly enjoy the full flavor experience.
