Now that's different! Pours golden with a medium head that dissipates quickly. Smells of Belgian yeast. Taste is very peppery follow by the yeast and a faint vanilla and alcohol. Drinks pretty smooth. If I wasn't holding the bottle, I never would have guessed this was aged in bourbon barrels. There is no barrel presence.

I remember that I really liked this one but can't identify specifics now. Will have to enjoy again soon.

Strong bourbon flavor that warms the stomach. Thin mouthfeel with a lingering aftertaste that stays on the tongue. Has a bit of raisin flavor.

Really nice barrel aged tripel. Pours a medium golden color, minimal head. Loads of tropical fruit on the nose, very full bodied tripel, great sipper. Watch out for 11% ABV.

Had this in Los Angeles many years ago. One of my favorite beers I've ever tried.

Having this for the second time. Wasn't impressed the first time but this time I'm really appreciating it. Really good brew with a great complex taste.

Well worth the bucks: hard to imagine a more flavorful, enticing creation.
