Good beer. Very smooth with some coffee notes.

Smoother than it sounds. Not a bad desert beer.

Aroma and taste reminds me of skoal tobacco. Still a good ale with a great story behind it.

Pour and let sit for a couple min. Much better flavor once it warms up and isn't ice cold.

Great coffee tones. Creamy head, and a smooth aftertaste.

A little too much coffee.

Jet black in color with a thin tan head and roasted chocolate coffee nose. Pungent aromas of caramel. Smooth and velvety mouthfeel. A sweet caramel forward with smoky dark coffee flavors. Burnt caramel and coffee at the finish. Several complex flavors all intermingle well together. A solid drinkable lager. Another winner from new Belgium.
