Smooth with a chocolate finish. Good beer for a dark

Great tasting black ale. Not bitter and pretty smooth. A good amount of carbonation for such a dark brew.

Ok if nothing else is available

Dark brown with a reddish tinge and a beige head that leaves a thin rim of lace. Poured into my New Belgium Globe glass. Chocolate aroma with coffee notes. Malty flavors start with sweetness and lead to a dry chocolate finish. Medium bodied with good carbonation. A very enjoyable brew that I would have again.

Malty chocolatey goodness. Fantastic! Good beer to pour into a glass. Doesn't need to be ice cold.

Tastes like a fat tire with a slight coffee malt... nothing special
