Don't believe the hype!! Yes it's a beer but trust me folks it's nothing of a beer at all. You have to approach this like drinking straight up booze and go from there. I'm a beer drinker and love IPAs but come on already

Hoppy, with a sweet aftertaste. There's a reason this beer is so well-known and -loved.

Not what I was expected. First it smells like rubbing alcohol, then you taste a sweet? Flavor which quickly turns to a strong 18 or 22 or whatever % alcohol flavor.

Overhyped. Not horrible but alcohol over powers the taste

Sweet and boozy. Not the hop bomb I was expecting. 2 stars.

I thought it would be better.

Not as smooth as expected. Alcohol overtone. (Belmont Station)

I gave it two stars now. It had a good hop floral smell. Taste is sweet and very boozy but gets better after several sips. I expected it to be very hoppy but it was not. I'll be aging three bottles and I bet it will taste a lot better after a few years. Although I was a little disappointed because it didn't live up to the hype but I do recommend people to try it. Cheers!!!

A. Tastes like an old ale, but way more complex. Hops are there in bitterness, but not over powering. No hop aroma, but flavor is still there. Fresh is A+, still sherry like, high alcohol almost hot, no hop aroma.
