Deep dark brown color. A smooth finish for a porter. Heavy caramel notes with mild bitter background.

Good, dark beer. Slightly heavy. Not as smoky/roasted tasting as a full on porter. Definitely worth it for the money. Won't find as good a dark beer for as cheap at the supermarket.

Very average. Has little or no flavor to my taste. I would not buy it again.

I tried this beer years ago and really enjoyed it. It was long before I ever tried any sort of porter before. Trying it again, eh... I've had better, too light to be a good porter, too heavy to be a good logger. A well, at least it's cheap.

These just arrived in Louisiana. Nice dark ruby color thick tan head. Toast and chocolate nose. Malty and chocolate taste. Overall a nice brew very easy to drink. A good winter brew.
