Bennywisest - March 28, 2013Tasted bottle. Deep mahogany red/brown color. Thick fizzy cream colored head. Aroma of resiny hops, roasted malts, caramel.

naturans - January 28, 2013This seems to hit my palate the way I like a hoppy beer to do--it has sweetness on the front of the tongue but depth across the whole sip/swallow. Nice level of bitter aftertaste with lingering caramel sweetness. A little piney but not too much, and I taste very little on the citrus end. Maybe it's my imagination but the taste intensity was stronger when sipping from the bottle than from a glass. In the glass it is a deep dark amber, almost a reddish and almost opaque--beautiful.
