Brown dark color, aroma RevealsCarmel dark berries and hops present clearly through the nose flavors Include Carmel apple sweetness , butter bread, molasses between well-balanced dryness. Nice finish with some Alcohol notes

Good color and good head. The labeling is a little lack luster (which I know has no bearing in the taste). Very malty in the sense that it taste like a solid brown ale but it has slightly more hops than I expected from a traditional brown ale, which I greatly appreciated.

Being from Yakima I wanted to love this but... I'm not in love. An interesting balance of hops and malt, but I just don't think black IPA's are really my thing. A bit heavy, don't think I could drink more than 1. Worth a try, though!

I did not care for this beer. Very malty, almost sweet as it left a sticky residue in my lips. But the initial taste is sour. The deep brown color comes from the carmalized malt that was too much for me.

A bit too roasted and coffee flavor for me.

Over the top hop, good but heavy. One's enough.

Crisp, refreshing, almost fruity and tart for a Black IPA, but that blends in a unique and wonderful way with the roasty Black IPA profile. Not as dark, roasty, or hoppy as most other Black IPA's, but delicious and surprising! Wonderful!
