Good holiday beer but not a true stout

Bitter, med to full feel, little carb, interesting mocha flavor- almost taste like coffee flavoring - slight.

Great color and smell. Huge flavor. Tons of pepper and nutmeg. Subtle on the coffee and cocoa. Decent beer. Couldn't drink much of it.

I love coffee stouts and I am a big fan of Stone in general but this one misses the mark. The aftertaste of nutmeg and cinnamon ruin it. There is just too much going on. It starts out well but by the end u just hate it.

This has hints of cocoa and coffee, but mostly a mix of cloves and other spices. Possibly nutmeg and pumpkin? It's very different I'll say.

Aroma- Smells of nice roasted pecans. Tastes like cinnamon roasted pecans, very smooth going down. Can I have another please.....

Awesome. Very espresso. Smooth. Absolutely should have. Mocha and chiles. Super neat.

It's somewhat noxious. I'm a fan of Stone, stouts, Stone's stouts, spiced beers, and cinnamon, yet I kind of hate this. It's brewed with care, but it's still what it is. It reeks of coffee grounds, like all the coffee beers that fail to capture coffee taste but succeed at summoning coffee grounds. In the middle, there is hope for a moment, with cinnamon and spice, but it finishes the way it smells and leaves you wanting to brush your teeth. To its credit, the thickness and mouthfeel is good and it improves as it warms. Still, the aftertaste is hideous. I won't drink it again, but I don't regret buying a bomber. Not every beer can be a hit with every person. Time to brush my teeth!
