Jackets60 - May 5, 20132012 bottle. Dark brown pour with not much head. Khaki head will come up when swirling the bottle. Getting the malts and some alcohol on the nose. Smells and tastes barrel aged with the vanilla! Dark fruits like plums on nose and taste. Getting some coffee as the temp rises as well. Definitely notice the alcohol. Good carbonation. Definitely a complex beer! Well done!

csvetcov - February 21, 2013I'm sure the complex flavors are there but they were lost on me with the high alcohol content. Maybe my palate just isn't refined enough.

Michell - January 26, 2013Dense and syrupy mouthfeel. Extremely high ABV content calls for very gradual sipping making this a bottle to be shared by at least a few at a time.
Ages very well.

sdelaney25 - July 9, 2012Ridiculous amount of barley? Try ridiculous amount of alcohol. One and done.

Draven2327 - July 8, 2012Good not great. The high alcohol content takes away from the flavor. I have a few bottles I am aging so can't wait to try again in a few years.

beerdouche420 - July 1, 2012Great complexity but a little to boozy so it overwhelms the flavors a little. Still a great stout
