I'm sure the complex flavors are there but they were lost on me with the high alcohol content. Maybe my palate just isn't refined enough.

Very dark syrupy and flat no thanks

Dense and syrupy mouthfeel. Extremely high ABV content calls for very gradual sipping making this a bottle to be shared by at least a few at a time.
Ages very well.

Ridiculous amount of barley? Try ridiculous amount of alcohol. One and done.
Draven2327 - July 8, 2012
Good not great. The high alcohol content takes away from the flavor. I have a few bottles I am aging so can't wait to try again in a few years.

Great complexity but a little to boozy so it overwhelms the flavors a little. Still a great stout

Smells like wine, tastes sweet, followed by chocolate flavors. Strong.

Not as robust or complex as I hoped for. Decent but not very interesting
