Strong. Coffee bourbon and chocolate. Slow sipping beer.

Rich & boozy (oddly enough my bottle declares "only" 11.5%). I like bourbon-aged beers, but this one's sweetness hits a bit too hard.

The Holy Grail of bourbon stouts for me. I love everything about it. Thick, slightly sweet, rich and complex. The bourbon is very present, but that?s a plus for me. A+
If you have one you like better, please name it in your notes; I?d like to check it out.

Too much alchoholy taste from the bourbon barrel, smells like cleaning agents

2016 edition: Opaque mahogany with foamy, tan, head that lingers. Notes of sweet, roasted, malt, dark fruit, and smoky vanilla. Full bodied with plentiful carbonation. Thick and rich mouth-feel with loads of roasted malt and caramel.
Damn, this is a great one.
